k3000 Feature Updates for July

What is the one thing that you’ve been asking for the most for the k3000 web application (firefly)? That’s right, you can now edit—and write—online. Log into www.fireflybykurzweil.com to try it out now. That’s not all. You’ll be excited to hear that the Kurzweil Engineering team has replaced the Flash Player with HTML5. With the new HTML5 Player for the k3000 Web App (firefly) it’s now easier to use in all modern browsers (no workaround needed). Here’s a full list of new features and updates in the latest release (Mac users, there’s something for you too).

k3000 Feature Updates in July

  • New Web Editor in the k3000 Web App (firefly) allows you to edit .doc, .docx, and text-based KES files and create new documents from scratch.
  • Say Goodbye to Flash! Replacing the Flash Player with HTML5 gives direct access to the k3000 web-based features from any modern browser.
  • Cross-out feature has now been added for Mac users.

If you missed it, here’s a re-cap of feature updates in June.

How-to’s are coming soon.
