We are all very lucky to live in such a connected world. A single message can be used to update people across the word simultaneously, and keeping up with an old friend has never been easier. Yes, the world is at our fingertips.
With the assortment of ways to connect—phone, email, text or live chat—it is still nice to talk in person, isn’t it? That’s why we are excited to attend the 38th Annual CAPED Convention this week—it gives us the chance to talk with many of you. As former teachers, we understand what it’s like to work one-on-one with students who struggle. The issues they faced in earlier years are exemplified in college as they learn to take on more responsibility. And, as you are well aware, the additional demands that come with this transition often lead to high dropout rates.
It has always been a passion of ours to help improve the lives of struggling students, whether they are an English Language Learner, a young adult with dyslexia or have other special needs. Stop by the Kurzweil booth at CAPED to learn about the special trial we have set up for you. Can’t make it to CAPED? Stop by one of our other conferences—to share your experiences, or to say hello.
